WHAT IS BLAZE?
The BLAZE program is open to 18-24 year old’s in the Portland-Metro area, who are passionate about their business idea. So if you have the next great business idea, then this program is for you. The BLAZE program is a 12-month program that will help you bring your products or services to life, with the goal of launching your business at the end of the 12 months.
During the program, you will receive help developing your products or services through:
Monthly Business Development Workshops
One to One Business Coaching for the duration of the program
Connections with Small Businesses, in the industry you are looking to enter.
Marketing Strategies for your products or services
Registering your Business
Access to MESO and BCMG business networks and resources
Empower Course Curriculum Access
BLAZE Participant Mentor Access
The Business Grant:
In addition to classroom instruction and coaching from business leaders, you will also receive a business grant and support services to help get your business off the ground.
The 6 participants who are selected for the 2024/25 BLAZE cohort will receive a business grant of $3,600 to use for business expenses, and to help launch their businesses!
